My name is Tim Stockdale and I am an Advanced Placement history teacher at John Handley High School in Winchester, VA. I am a native Virginian, originally from Prince William County. I spent the early part of my career in the finance industry before making the transition to education. I hold a Collegiate Professional License from the Virginia Department of Education and I am endorsed in History & Social Sciences and English. I earned my teaching license in part from my studies at Shenandoah University’s School of Education and Human Development. I am a graduate of Georgetown University where I earned a B.A. in Liberal Studies and I have a Master’s in History from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. In addition to teaching courses such as World History, Virginia & United States Government, and Virginia & United States History, I am also a member of The National Trust for Historic Preservation a charitable organization that focuses on preserving endangered historical landmarks. Most importantly, my wife and I have been married for twelve years and together we have two daughters.
